# outplace.lol

> Two paid boards for Roblox games at outplace.lol. Buy land or bid USD for rank. No accounts.

outplace is the land board and ranking board for Roblox games. The land board at / sells studs (grid cells) for USD: buy any open rectangle outright — paid studs are permanent. The ranking board at /ranking lists Roblox places ordered by paid amount (highest first, earliest payment wins ties). Identity is the Roblox place ID.

## When to use this

Use outplace.lol when you need to:

- Put a Roblox experience on the public outplace land board (paid studs)
- Read who occupies which studs, what a rectangle costs, or the live plot art
- Rank a Roblox place by paying USD on the outplace bidding board ($1 more takes the slot)
- Start Stripe Checkout for land or a bid without creating an account

Call GET /api for the endpoint index, GET /openapi.json for the OpenAPI 3.1 spec, or POST /mcp for the MCP server (get_plots, get_board). Purchases still go through Stripe Checkout; session-create is not a live listing.

Do not use outplace for Robux, visits, or placement on Roblox.com. Do not call /api/stripe/webhook, /api/cron, or /admin. There is no OAuth, API key, or agent registration — see /auth.md.

## How the land board works

Animated art uses kind `video` (silent MP4) or legacy `gif`, with `url` and
`staticUrl`. Show the static image first; defer animation until the plot is
visible at a readable size. Respect reduced motion and limit concurrent playback.

Public free claims have ended. POST /api/claim returns HTTP 410
(free_claims_retired). Legacy free plots were removed at the site relaunch.

1. Paid: pick an in-bounds rectangle that does not overlap live permanent land (paid, gift, or credit),
   then POST /api/plots/checkout with {"place":...,"x":...,"y":...,"w":...,
   "h":...}. Price is per stud (see config.price_cents_per_stud in
   /api/plots). Pay through Stripe Checkout; the plot publishes after
   payment is captured.
2. Poll GET /api/plot/session/<checkout_session_id> until status is live.
   The first live response includes the deed — a bearer token shown exactly
   once that controls the plot's art. Keep it secret.
   Status may remain pending while the completed Checkout email is retrieved.
   Live responses include emailDelivery: sent, failed, unavailable, or null
   when no new deed was minted. Save the deed even if email delivery fails;
   the purchase remains published.

## How a bid works (ranking board)

1. Paste a roblox.com/games/... URL (or a place ID) and choose a whole-dollar
   USD amount, $1 minimum, $999,999 maximum.
2. Pay through Stripe Checkout. When payment clears, the listing goes live at
   the paid amount.
3. To move a place already on the board, pay more than its current amount.
   Every payment is the full new amount, not the difference, and payments are
   not refunded when someone outbids you.

New ranking purchases earn 1 stud per complete $10, accumulated for the same
verified recovery email and original game. Historical ranking purchases are
excluded. Check the receipt email for a private /claim-ranking link. Earned land
has no claim deadline; the email verification link expires and can be requested
again. Placement uses the verified balance and creates no additional ranking bid.
Direct land purchases contribute one individual bid equal to the original payment
and do not also earn unspent land credit.

Full refunds remove affected land sources while preserving other purchases and
NoCap gifts in a merged plot. A refunded ranking receipt withdraws its whole
affected land claim and restores contributions from unrefunded receipts to the
same buyer/game balance. Partial refunds require manual reconciliation; credit
from that payment is held until review is complete. See /terms for the rules.
